Solar Installation in Garland and Nearby Towns

We install, repair and care for home solar systems across Garland and the towns around it. The same habits travel with us to every address: sealed roof penetrations, tidy conduit runs and wiring that is labeled and secured, so the system on your home holds up through long Texas summers.

Where our crews work

Garland is home base, and most of our days are spent a short drive from it. We regularly work in Rowlett, Sachse, Murphy and Wylie to the north and east, in Richardson and Plano to the west, and in Rockwall across the lake. To the south we cover Mesquite, Sunnyvale and Balch Springs.

Distance does not change how a job is done. Every solar panel installation gets proper flashing at each mount, careful planning for where conduit crosses the roof, and a walk-through with you when we finish. If you already have panels, our solar repair and panel cleaning visits follow the same standard, and we can look at whether battery storage makes sense for the system you have.

Local conditions that affect solar here

Age of local homes
Most homes in the area went up between the 1960s and the 2000s, and the newer subdivisions sit farther out. Older houses may have electrical panels with little room to spare, so we check the main panel and service before any design work. We look hard at the roof too. If the shingles have just a few seasons left, we tell you at the start, because paying to lift and reset the array for a new roof later is a cost you can plan for today.
Summer heat, hail and gusts
Roofs here get much hotter than the air in summer, and spring storms can bring hail and strong wind. We use hardware and wire management rated for outdoor use, keep wires off the hot roof and tighten each fastener to its specified torque. Panel glass is made to handle hail. Problems usually begin with loose wiring and lifted flashing.
Pollen and dust
Dry stretches, dust from construction and spring pollen build a film that rain often leaves behind. We clean panels with soft brushes and purified water, bringing output back without scratching the glass.
City permits and electric providers
Every city handles solar through its own permit process, typically a plan review followed by a final inspection. Electric service differs too: some homes are served by a city-owned utility and others by a retail provider, each with its own interconnection steps. We take care of the permit paperwork and tell you what your utility requires before the system goes live.
Homeowner associations
Plenty of neighborhoods here have an HOA. Texas law caps how much an association can restrict solar, but a board may still review panel placement. We can provide the layout drawings and equipment details your board requests.
